Parent orientation session for foundational classes

Last week On July 5th, we conducted the first parent orientation session for our foundational classes (LKG to Class 2).

We strongly believe that a child’s meaningful and all-round development is possible only when parents and teachers are on the same page. So, we began the session in an interactive manner, asking parents what they expect as an outcome of education. To our surprise, none of them highlighted marks/percentage as a measure of good education instead they mentioned values and key skills like communication, attitude, behaviour, respect, discipline, environment care, sports etc. It was heartening to see that these rural parents have a deep and clear understanding of what real education means – something that aligns well with our vision of holistic learning.

This event was an opportunity for us to build strong partnership and foster a positive relationship with our parent community. When parents feel like valued partners in the educational process, they are more likely to engage actively in their child’s learning journey.

We also distributed text books to LKG-UKG students
