Learning Enhancement & Advancement Program (LEAP)

Delighted to share an important milestone in Aikya’s social journey.

As the next stage of our growth, we have signed a three-year LEAP (Learning Enhancement & Advancement Program) MOU directly with the Block Education Department.

This opportunity comes as a result of the significant transformation that the Block Education Officers have witnessed through our existing Arohana Project, where we have been working closely with three government schools to improve the learning outcome.

With the new LEAP Program, we are now expanding our reach to many more children studying in nearby government schools.

Our Core Objectives:

Learning Enhancement Track – Conduct bridge (remedial) courses for children with learning gaps to strengthen their Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) skills and help them achieve age-appropriate learning levels.

Learning Advancement Track – Conduct Competitive Courses like Olympiad, NMMS-Scholarship for children who are fast learners and have demonstrated good progress in FLN skills.

This initiative aligns deeply with our core belief that every child deserves a promising future. Classes are conducted before regular school hours, enabling children from multiple government schools across the town to participate. More than 200 children are now part of the LEAP Program. We are especially proud that 70–75% of them are girls, reflecting our commitment to ensuring that more girls have access to quality learning opportunities.

Beyond academics, LEAP-Program also includes sports, art, and craft activities to support the holistic development of every child.

Many of you have been supporting Aikya on this journey and this milestone would not have been possible without your faith in our work. We are deeply grateful for your unwavering trust, encouragement, and continued support. Together, our collective compassion is helping children with a better future. Thank you for believing in Aikya and in the potential of every child.
