An Independence Day celebration the children will always remember 🇮🇳❤️.
On August 15th 2026, Gummalapuram school came alive with the energy and spirit of Independence Day as more than 40 Harley-Davidson riders from Garden City Bengaluru Chapter visited the school to celebrate the occasion with the children.
They sponsored a delicious breakfast for all the children and, even more meaningfully, extended financial support towards Aikya’s education initiatives. The celebration became even more special when the bikers took the children along for a bike rally through the village, proudly carrying the Indian flag. For the children, watching the colourful bikes, riding alongside them and celebrating together was an experience filled with excitement and joy.
It was wonderful to see a community come together in such a joyful way and make Independence Day truly memorable for our children.
At Aikya, we are deeply grateful to the entire Harley-Davidson group for their generosity, warmth and support. Their visit brought smiles to so many young faces—and once again reminded us that when people come together with a shared purpose, they can create moments that all will cherish for a lifetime.
