Earlier this week, the cluster-level Kabaddi matches took place in Anekal, Bengaluru region, with enthusiastic participation from both government and private schools.
We are extremely proud to share that the girls’ team from Anekal Government School, sponsored and trained by Aikya, secured the first place, while the boys’ team finished as runners-up. The girls’ team will now represent school at the Taluk-level competition.
The boys’ event saw stiff competition, with several well-trained private schools participating. Despite this, our Anekal Government school boys’ team showcased outstanding skill and determination to reach the final match. Kabaddi is a popular local sport, and to support our students’ practice, a Kabaddi mat was essential.
We are deeply grateful to our dear friends, Yatin Jog and Sunilkumar Kothari who sponsored the mat for practice and helped us in channelizing students’ energy in the right direction.
